My name is John Krietemeyer.  I was born in Peoria, Illinois and grew up in Chillicothe, Illinois.  I am the youngest of six (four sisters and one brother).

I am a third degree black belt under George Dillman and Mickey Wittekiend.  I initially joined martial arts to gain confidence.  My wife, Elizabeth, also trains under Mr. Dillman and Master Wittekiend.  It's nice because I always have someone to practice forms with.

I believe martial arts is a great confidence booster and it helped me to become a better person.  I also get a chance to meet and train with a lot of really nice people with similar interests.  I plan on training and practicing martial arts for the rest of my life.
