My name is Mike Wittekiend.  I have been in the martial arts since the age of six.  I earned my First Degree Black Belt in the early 1980’s.  I have been around the arts for 22 years and have been blessed to learn from my father.  Not only have I learned discipline over the years, it has also taught me valuable skills I use everyday in the work force.

Having taken a couple of various breaks from my studies to go back to school and get my COBOL Certificate, I resumed my training in the early 1990's.  My interest in the arts really piqued when some of us went to see a seminar presented by Mr. Dillman in Indiana.  We were amazed at what we saw and the ease at which it was executed.  The thing most remarkable about Kyusho Jitsu is that anyone can excel at it regardless of their size, gender, or strength.  I earned my Fourth Degree Black Belt in January of 1995.

I live in Peoria, Illinois with my wife Kristi.  We have one daughter named Ashley, who is two years old and we are looking forward to getting her into the arts.  I am currently a Technical Programmer at ChoicePoint Direct in Peoria.
