Hello, my name is Stephen J. Kuster.  I was born in Elmira, New York and my family moved to Washington, Il. in my freshman year of high school.  I graduated with honors from Illinois Central College with a degree in Industrial Electronics Technology and am a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

My current residence is in Washington with my wife Charlotte and three children, Airen, Brittany, and Alexander.  Brittany and Alex both also have an interest in Martial Arts, both practicing at Wittekiend's.  My interest in the arts started when I was a child marveling at the balance, poise, and power that was developed (ya gotta look good when performing a technique).  I was also interested in the unselfish way that an artist made efforts to help others that were in need.

As the years have gone by I have found myself involved in the startup of (and ownership of) many companies including Oberlander Alarm Systems, Inc (where I am currently employed and a Principal of), O.K., LLC (currently active here too), Com-Link, Ltd, Phone Home LLC, and Prism Installations, Inc.

Outside of work my interests are my wife (of course), remodeling our home, working in the yard, motorcycling and flying.  My private pilots license was obtained in 1992.  I enjoy spending time with others and of course dining out is high on the list also.
