Outlook 2002,2003


Setting up E-Mail on Outlook 2002,2003

Step 1:
Open Outlook 2002,2003.



Step 2:
Go to the Tools -> Email Accounts menu.




Step 3:
Click "Add a new email account" and click Next.




Step 4:
Choose POP3 for the server type and click Next.




Step 5:
Type your name, email address, username and password into the appropriate fields.

Type in mail.mtco.com for the incoming server name, and smtp.mtco.com for the outgoing server name.

At the bottom right, click the "More Settings" button.




Step 6:
At the top, click the "Outgoing Server" tab.

Checkmark the setting "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". NOTE: Below this, leave the setting on "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

At the top, click the "Advanced" tab.




Step 7:
For both incoming and outgoing, checkmark the setting "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)".

Change the outgoing port number from 25 to 465.

The incoming port number should automatically change from 110 to 995. If it does not, change manually.

Click OK, then Next, then Finish to save.

You should now be able to send/receieve your MTCO E-Mail
