Setting up Outlook Express, Outlook 2000, Incredimail

Step 1:
Open Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Outlook 2000, Incredimail



Step 2:
Go to the Tools -> Accounts menu



Step 3:
On the right, click Add -> Mail

Type in your name and click Next

Type in your email address and click Next




Step 4:
This next page is the email server names

The first setting should stay at POP3 for the type

In the incoming mail server spot, type in mail.mtco.com

In the outgoing mail server spot, type in smtp.mtco.com

Click Next




Step 5:
This next page is the username/password

The username should already be filled in

Enter the password, and click "Remember Password" if you want it to be saved

Do NOT checkmark "Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"

Click Next





Step 6:
Click Finish--should take you back to the Accounts window with the newly created account. If not, go back to the Tools -> Accounts menu--

Highlight the MTCO account by left clicking on it once

Click the Properties button on the right

Step 7:
Click the Servers tab at the top

At the bottom, checkmark the setting "My server requires authentication"

Click the Advanced tab at the top




Step 8:
For both incoming and outgoing, checkmark the "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" option

Change the outgoing port number from 25 to 465

The incoming port number should automatically change from 110 to 995 if it does not, change manually

Click OK to save

You should now be able to send/receieve your MTCO E-Mail
