This is the show that began the trend for guy and girl-group musical reviews that led to the immensely popular FOREVER PLAID. The Taffetas are a girl group reminiscent of the Lennon Sisters. They hail from Muncie, Indiana and are in New York making their first television appearance on a variety show. They croon and belt some of the best loved numbers of the 50's, including "You Belong To Me," " I'm Sorry," "Tammy," and "Where The Boys Are." If you like FOREVER PLAID, you'll fall in love with THE TAFFETAS.
