BOB LANE, JR. (Dr. Mortimore) As one of our leading comics, Bob has delighted audiences at the Barn for years. He was most recently seen as empty-nester George in Alone Together. He was seen last season as Senator Richard Willey in Two Into One, as Harry in Will You Still Love Me in the Morning?, Dick in Tom, Dick & Harry, mobster Vinnie in What the Rabbi Saw and Charlie Bickle in Here Lies Jeremy Troy. Bob's favorite roles include The Foreigner, Perfect Wedding, Caught in the Net, Rumors and Harvey. He will be seen later this season in The Odd Couple and Perfect Wedding.
MARY SIMON (Rosemary/Director) Mary has been involved with the various Conklin theatres since 1969. She assumed ownership and directing responsibilities in 1995. Over the many seasons Mary mentions Smoke on the Mountain (up next!), Cemetery Club, I Do, I Do, Guys & Dolls, Rumors, The Foreigner, Perfect Wedding, Funny Money and Nunsense as personal favorites. She most recently appeared as the nurse in The Sunshine Boys and as frazzled mom Helene in Alone Together. She also directed the premiere of G.I. Jukebox. Last year, she appeared in Two Into One, Will You Still Love Me in the Morning?, Tom, Dick & Harry, What the Rabbi Saw and Here Lies Jeremy Troy. She is proud and happy to keep our founder's dream alive! "This day, this moment, that's it!"
PAT GAIK (Dr. Bonney) Pat was most recently seen as Eddie in The Sunshine Boys. He has also appeared this season in G.I. Jukebox, and as eldest son Michael in Alone Together. Last year, he was seen as George Pigden in Two Into One, as Perry in Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? and as back-to-back Harrys--in Tom, Dick & Harry and in What the Rabbi Saw. He also reprised the role of Sister Mary Hubert in Nunsense A-Men! and appeared in Here Lies Jeremy Troy. He's looking forward to appearing with Bob Lane, Jr. later this season in The Odd Couple. Pat also serves as our Marketing Director.
DAN CHALLACOMBE (Dr. Connolly) We're always happy to have Dan onstage! He was last seen in G.I. Jukebox and as middle son Elliot in Alone Together. Last year, he reprised his roles as Wong Chung in Two Into One and as Mother Mary Regina in Nunsense A-Men! He was also seen last season as Tom in Tom, Dick & Harry, and Noel in What the Rabbi Saw. Dan and his wife Tamra have 3 charming daughters--Claire, Sophie and Alexia.
MIRANDA FRIEND (Jane) Miranda was last seen as Janie in Alone Together. Last season, she was seen as Jennifer in Two Into One, as Celia in Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? and as Linda in Tom, Dick & Harry. Miranda made her Barn debut in Not Now Darling in 2001 and has appeared in several shows including Mousetrap, Impossible Years, Cash on Delivery and Holiday Snap. Miranda will be marrying our chef Robbie in January!
JOHN JOHNSON (Police Sergeant) We're happy to have JJ back on stage. He was last seen as nephew Ben in The Sunshine Boys and as youngest son Keith in the hilarious Alone Together. He was seen last season as Edward in Two Into One and as Jeremy in Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? (a role for which the Pantagraph gave him the "Most calories burned on stage" award). He was also seen as Officer Downs in Tom, Dick & Harry and as groom Walter in What the Rabbi Saw. John and wife Julianna reside in Peoria with sons CJ and Max.
DIANN THOMPSON (Sister/Mother) It's great to have Diann back for a dual role. She was last seen as Nursey-Nursey in The Sunshine Boys! She was seen last year as Maria the Chambermaid in Two Into One, as Thelma in Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? and as bride Wendy in What the Rabbi Saw. Previous Barn shows include Who's Under Where?, Anybody for Murder?, Out of Order, Don't Dress for Dinner, Holiday Snap and Harvey.
TOM WEBER (Bill) Tom has been our resident Scenic Designer for many years, building our sets, running lights and sound and appearing on stage as well! He was last seen as another patient in The Sunshine Boys. Last year he was seen filling in as Syd the Plumber in Will You Still Love Me in the Morning? and as immigrant Andreas in Tom, Dick & Harry. He and his cat Buffy are avid History Channel fans.
SARA FLANDERS (Head Nurse "H.N.") It's delightful to have Sara back in action for one of our farces. She was seen last year as a desperate Mother of the Bride in What the Rabbi Saw and as snoopy lobbyist Lilly Chatterton in Two Into One. Previous Barn shows include Anybody for Murder?, The Odd Couple, The Sunshine Boys, Ten Little Indians, and Mousetrap.
DAVID FLANDERS (Dr. Drake) David has trod the Barn board many times in the last several years, sometimes, as tonight, along with his charming wife Sara. He has been seen as the title character in What the Rabbi Saw?, in Tom, Dick and Harry, A Sting in the Tale, Who's Under Where, Holiday Snap, Don't Dress for Dinner, Ten Little Indians and Mousetrap.
ARPIL WYANT (Leslie) It's great to have our Technical Director April back onstage with us for the third time. In addition to her technical duties, she's found time to appear in What the Rabbi Saw and Two Into One. She is a graduate of the Theatre Department at Illinois Wesleyan University. April and her husband Zack are about to purchase their first house!
