The Purpose of the Global Classroom Research Paper

     Many of us who are teaching in today's schools share an excitement and anticipation about the imminent changes in our classrooms -- changes capable of creating for us a global classroom. In my school district, for example, we are in the process of shifting from classrooms with no Internet access to classrooms wired for six computers to access the World Wide Web. This shift will also include a new lab wired for Internet access. As these changes begin, we find ourselves asking "How do we successfully integrate the Internet into our classroom instruction?" The purpose of this online research paper is to share my own path to find a viable answer to this current question in hopes that we teachers will find both find and share answers to this timely question.
