ICC Chapter of SkillsUSA-VICA is a local organization affiliated with Illinois Association of SkillsUSA-VICA and National SkillsUSA-VICA. The National organization serves over 245,000 high school and college students. Its purpose is to prepare America's high performance workers. This preparation includes building and reinforcing self-confidence, work attitudes and communication skills. Emphasis is on work skills and ethical standards.

ICC Chapter of SkillsUSA-VICA has over 100 local college and professional members who are enrolled in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations. Membership provides the opportunity to participate in region activities, state leadership conferences, use of professional development curriculum and competition in the state SkillsUSA Championships, which are based on technical standards set up by business and industry.
