SkillsUSA Championships are held on two levels:
State Only and State and National.

State and National: Action Skills, Leadership, Skilled and Technical, Health Occupations and Occupational Related, plus Demonstration Contests.

State: Action Skills, Leadership, & Skilled/Technical.

Action Skills Contests: Basic Woodworking Skills, Case Studies, Fast Food Services, Full Service Auto, Interview Competencies, Restaurant Services, and Safety Presentation.
Leadership Contests: Center Piece - Craft and Floral, Creative Photography, Essay, Scrapbook, Suitcase and VICA Corp Achievement.
Skilled and Technical Contests: Architectural Drafting Board, Aviation Skills, C++ Programming, Fire Fighters, Interior Room Design, Internet Homepage, Machine Drafting Board, Microsoft Office 97, Qbasic Programming, Radio Broadcast Production, and Video Production - Creative.
