One Road To Heaven

There is only one route that leads to heaven. That “road” is plainly marked in God’s Word - there are no alternate routes. God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. It is only by confessing our sins and receiving Christ as our Savior that we can attain eternal life. God’s “road” is the only way! Here are the signposts:

1. All have sinned and no one can remedy this sinful state (Romans 3:23, 5:12).

2. This sin leads to death and eternal separation from God. There is nothing we can do to earn a place in heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9).

3. Christ came and died on the cross as a substitute for sinful mankind (John 3:16; Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 3:18).

4. Each of us must place his or her faith and trust in Jesus’ finished work on the cross to be saved. (John 1:12; 3:16) It is only by God’s grace that he is saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9) There is no other way to be saved. (John 14:6)

If you don’t know for sure that you are saved, you can be right now. Agree with God that you are a sinner and thank Him for sending His Son to die for you. Put your faith in Jesus and He will be your Savior. If you possess Jesus as Savior, you possess eternal life and you are on the only road to heaven (I John 5:11-13).
