Harristown Christian Church is located about three miles west of the Interstate 72 / Route 51/ Route 36 interchange (Exit 133A). From the Interstate, take the exit to Decatur labeled "US 36 East". Go about two blocks, then turn west on Harristown Boulevard (old Route 36), then turn north on N. Meridian Road, and go about a mile north. [Harristown Boulevard begins at the current Route 36 (West Eldorado Street), just west of Wyckles Road, on the western boundary of Decatur.]
Our Purpose
The Mission of the Harristown Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), as a part of the universal Body of Christ, is to proclaim God's unconditional love for all creation; to encourage a life of Christian witness and ministry; to come together as a family to nurture one another in love, compassion and forgiveness; and to model Christ's life through outreach to those in need.
