MORTON
Morton, Illinois with a population of over 16,500 is located in the prime farmland at intersection of US Route 74 and I55. The community is known as the "city of beautiful homes" and boasts an excellent school system and fields many good athletes. The Morton Courier began publishing in 1963 to provide greater circulation for readers and advertisers in the communities of Morton, Tremont, Mackinaw, Deer Creek and Groveland.
