EUREKA -- The annual Woodford County Republican picnic is scheduled for Tuesday, August 28, 2007, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. The picnic will be held at the Farm Bureau Park on 4-H Road in Eureka. Motorists using Illinois Route 117 (South Main Street) should turn east at the Casey’s General Store.

Tickets are priced at $15.00 each or $20.00 for 2. Children 10 years old and under eat free. The menu includes grilled pork chops, assorted salads, dessert, lemonade and iced tea. Hot dogs and beverages will be provided for the children.

Attendees may enter the door prize drawing by filling out the information on their ticket stub.

Local candidates and GOP officials are expected to attend. Bruce Kieffer, the Party’s events chairman, said that everyone can, "Look forward to an evening of food, fun, and entertainment."
