HOW DO I CONFIGURE E-MAIL PROGRAMS OR APPLICATIONS THAT ARE NOT LISTED ON THE MTCO SUPPORT PAGE?
Why isn’t my e-mail program listed? MTCO has decided to drop step-by-step instructions for all unsupported mail programs. Unsupported programs are a potential security risk and, in most cases, have had all support dropped from the developer of the application. However, should you still want to use an unsupported application, the advanced setup options are listed below.
Advanced settings for POP3
Your Name: Your name as you would like it to appear.
Account Name/User Name: Your full e-mail address (i.e. username@mtco.com)
E-mail Address: Your full e-mail address (i.e. username@mtco.com)
Password: The password for your e-mail account
Account Type: POP3
Outgoing Mail Server: Select My server requires authentication (This could be under More Settings)
Outgoing Mail Service: mail.mtco.com
TLS/AUTO outbound 587
Incoming Mail Service: mail.mtco.com
SSL inbound 995
e-mail address: Your full e-mail address (i.e. username@mtco.com)
Delivery: Leave a copy on the server (Optional)
Advanced settings for IMAP
Your Name: Your name as you would like it to appear.
Account Name/User Name: Your full e-mail address (i.e. username@mtco.com)
E-mail Address: Your full e-mail address (i.e. username@mtco.com)
Password: The password for your e-mail account
Account Type: IMAP
Outgoing Mail Server: Select My server requires authentication (This could be under More Settings)
Outgoing Mail Service: mail.mtco.com
TLS/AUTO outbound 587
Incoming Mail Service: mail.mtco.com
SSL inbound 993
E-mail address: Your full e-mail address (i.e. username@mtco.com)
