Microsoft is upgrading its Mail and Calendar apps on all PCs to a new unified Outlook app before the end of 2024. If you have not already been prompted, you will soon see a pop-up to inform you of this change when you open the Mail app. The New Outlook app will replace all old clients (Windows Mail and Mail). MTCO does not have any control over this Microsoft upgrade.

Once you've been upgraded to New Outlook, the following issues may occur:
• Time and Date: In most cases, it will be incorrect in Outlook.
• Contacts: Previous contacts will not be pulled into the new version.
• Emails: Emails prior to 180 days will sometimes not display.
• Functionality: Mail may stop working randomly or not open.
• Sending/Receiving: Mail may fail to send and receive emails.
• Account Setup: Mail may fail when setting up your account.

What options do I have if the new Outlook has the above issues?
• MTCO Webmail: Go directly to MTCO Webmail on your PC browser (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).
• Alternative Applications: Switch to a new application such as Thunderbird Mail.
